Ice Breaker: To Solve Tough Problems, Start by Realizing That You Can.

By: Kendall Ciesemier, founder of Kids Caring 4 Kids.

The article “Ice Breaker: To solve the problems, start Realizing that You Can” is about global         poverty. I know many people out there have seen or heard about the many struggles in the world. From the homeless people on the corner holding signs to the heart crushing commercials on TV about Africa. To see someone struggle every day dying of hunger while we lay back and enjoy sweet snacks is very hard to do. The world needs to come together and end poverty. This article explains some ways how.
First off, we need to set goals and assign methods of data collection and measurement. This basically means track your funds and measure how much you feel should be sent to the strugglers. The have small programs also such as The dollar a day program and the small donation banks at your local food markets and stores.
In the story a young woman the age of 11, began to tell a story of how she started her help. She was saying how she watched Oprah one say and seen the special highlight. The highlight was about the plight of African AIDS. It was a young girl who was 13 years old who lost her parents because of a tragic illness of AIDS. So one day the 11 year old girl, Kendall started to save her birthday money, Christmas money, etc. She would save it and send It to the kids and save many lives. The world started hearing what this young girl was doing and many other children joined with her. She now has a worldwide business by the name of Kids Caring 4 Kids. It’s basically about kids saving up money from Christmas and Birthday’s like she did.
There are 3 kinds of people in the world. One are people who make things happen. Two are people who watch things happen. Lastly people who wonder what happen. The Article “Ice Breaker: To solve the problems, start Realizing that You Can” talks about global poverty. Things we could have been prevented and stop and still can stop with the help of the world. It talks about how to manage and measure your money. It even explains about a young girl who managed her money and saved it up to help someone in need. The world needs our help to end poverty, the only way that we can is to come together and donate.
